JU-JITSU Understanding, Sympathy and Tolerance

From the 12th to 14th May the Project No. 2017-1-BG01-KA105-035697 , funded by the European Union through Erasmus+ Program was held in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The topic was “Ju Jitsu-Understanding, Sympathy and Tolerance”. The participants were from the Greek, the Italian, Bosnia & Hercegovina /Pep.Serbska/  and Bulgarian Ju Jitsu Federations . From the four countries 38 people took part in the project.

The project was initiated and carried out under the guidance of the JJIF Committee of  Self-Defense and Education, in the implementation of presented in the JJIF Board, Programm of Development  of the JJIF Self-Defense and Education Committee.

The project Manager was  Prof. Dr. Tomo Borisov - Chairman of the JJIF Self-Defense and Education Committee.

The Project was guided by Bulgarian Ju Jitsu Federations.

Every participant received a Certificate for taking part in the project and an Youth Pass Certificate.

With theoretical seminars and practical trainings, the project aims are to train youth workers how to address physical inactivity and elaborate ways of promoting sports and encouraging social inclusions. Its objectives are to teach new knowledge and skills for training youths how to react adequately to critical situations in everyday life and to cultivate in young people interest in physical activity and healthy way of life, based on the philosophy and the techniques of Ju Jitsu .
