European Championship & General Assembly

European Championship for Juniors and Aspirants and General Assembly of JJEU in Lund Sweden!

The Swedish Jujutsu Federation wants to thank the Ju-jitsu European Union, which gave us the opportunity to host The European Championship for Aspirants & Juniors 2014.

There were great expectations on the organizer after the successful World Championship in 2008, and yet again The Swedish Jujutsu Federation managed to deliver a great championship.

In the opening ceremony there were a moment of silence to honor the memory of JJEU President Herbert Frese, who has left us after a brief time of illness.

On the JJEU GA Tom Kempkens received the Diploma for Lifetime Achievement, and the GA decided to hold an extra GA meeting to elect a new president for the JJEU. The extra GA will be held at the World Championship in Paris in November 2014.
