Work Group "Youth rules"

Following the decisions of Technical Congress 2013 the rules for U15 must be adapted to be executed in World Cup 2014 Bucharest.

The general points are clear.
A working group has to clarify the section of “dangerous sacrifice techniques and makekomi techniques”.

·         Jiu-Jitsu Ne-Waza rules U15 must be adapted in similar way

·         The wish to have JJIF rules for the lower Age categories was expressed

Referee

JJIF Referee committee and the national referee directors

The structure of the referee license must be reviewed to be adapted to the 3 systems completely and add the regional level for world wide expanding.

Education for Coaches (and Referees)

Analyses:
First level of License in most nations between 100 – 200 LE (LE = 45 min)
further levels contain around additional 60 to 200 LE this depends mainly on structures of professional or volunteer systems in the countries.

Proposal for implementing a basic (first) level of instructor license:
This level shall be mandatory for the international referee and coach license!

The objective is to have finally 120 LE of education. National licenses can be recognized.

The following steps:

1.    JJIF will develop a curriculum for 40 LE (1 week seminar)
JJIF will offer a common Seminar but the NF or regions may conduct this seminar as well.
We will purchase material as online course as well.

2.    An additional 3 days course will be conducted by JJIF to harmonize and test the knowledge (24 LE)
Personal presence is mandatory here - a test will be held

With seminar 1 + 2 the requirements of the Basic license are fulfilled for the period of 2 years.

3.    JJIF will develop a curriculum for 40 LE (1 week seminar)
JJIF will offer a common Seminar but the NF or regions may conduct this seminar as well.
We will purchase material as online course as well.

4.    An additional 3 days course will be conducted by JJIF to harmonize and test the knowledge (24 LE)
Personal presence is mandatory here - a test will be held

With seminar 3 + 4 the Basic license is fully achieved and valid for the period of 4 years.
(Refreshments can be done in 2 days)
